Downtown Holiday Advertising Campaign

The LDDA and the DLP are teaming up to make this Holiday Season in Downtown the best ever!

Our holiday Marketing campaign will include radio ads, print ads in The Ledger’s TIMEOUT, and The Ledger online banner ads. WE NEED YOU TO PARTICIPATE!

Here’s the program:
We kick off the Holiday Walkabout with radio ads on all 4 stations beginning November 8 through 14. The radio ad will also drive traffic back to the Downtown Lakeland web site for more information.

November 9th in TIMEOUT is a 2 page spread about Downtown Holiday Happenings with an opportunity for individual businesses to buy space on those pages. (See the details at the bottom of this page about the ad specifications) Those same ads will be individually posted on the DLP Facebook page (13K+ likes) and tagged to your Facebook page.

We also want your holiday activities for our listing. Having an open house or special night for the public at your business? Tell us about it so we can add it to the list. The Holiday Happens section of the 2 page spread will also advertise the DLP’s $500 Shopping Spree Text to Win Contest. Participants will register to win via the Downtown Lakeland text messaging and the winner will be notified on December 7th, just in time to shop at the Shop, Sip & Stroll event on December 8th.
Then…
Each week in TIMEOUT from November 16 through December 21 Downtown will have a quarter page ad that will feature a Downtown Business. (See the details at the bottom of this page the ad specifications) These too will be shared on DLP Facebook.

Banner ads running for six weeks beginning November 8 will start with Holiday Walkabout then change to Small Business Saturday, then Shop Sip & Stroll.

How can you participate…
1. Send us your event information that we can add to the Holiday Happenings events listings – including New Year’s Eve.
2. Purchase an ad on the 2 page spread on November 9 at a discounted rate.
3. Purchase a featured ad in TIMEOUT on one of the following dates: Nov 16, Nov 23, Nov 30, Dec 7, Dec 14, Dec 21.

The pre-sized/pre-formatted ads for the 2 page spread are an eighth page (TIMEOUT size). The cost to you is only $100. (That’s a 30% discount.) There are 10 ad spaces available, so secure yours NOW before they are gone!! (You can make your ad larger by combining 2 or more. Ask for details.)

Quarter page ads every Thursday in Timeout – November 16 – December 21
