Our mission is simple: to promote and advocate for Downtown Lakeland
You probably know us as “the First Friday” people and maybe the “Food Truck Rally” people. The Downtown Lakeland Partnership is a membership-based organization that draws its strength from a diverse group of businesses and individuals. The common denominator is that we all love Downtown passionately, and we want you to know why this is a great place to shop, dine, work and play.
The variety of experience and viewpoints provide the energy and excitement that keeps Downtown vital.
First Wednesday of the Month (no meeting in October due to the Annual Luncheon and sometimes other months are skipped due to holidays).
The location varies so we can show off as many of the Downtown stakeholders as possible.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
At the Downtown Update meetings you’ll learn about important news affecting Downtown Lakeland, DLP activities, and LDDA news. This meeting also provides a forum for expressing ideas and concerns, and networking opportunities with other members, as well as providing a venue for sharing information with Downtown businesses owners, community leaders and other organizations.
